In a mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients: /2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons course ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons kosher salt, 2 tablespoons sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon granulated onion powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
