This rib dry rub recipe is the perfect BBQ seasoning for ribs, pulled pork, and chicken. It has a nice balance of spicy and sweet making it the perfect balance of flavors for Kansas City-style BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Course Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Onion
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients: /2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons course ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons kosher salt, 2 tablespoons sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon granulated onion powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  • Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Your Dry Rib Rub is now ready to use! Apply this dry rub generously to your ribs or other meats before grilling or smoking to add delicious flavor and a touch of heat.
