Ingredients

  • 12 chicken tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Take the chicken tenderloins out of the packaging and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, toss the chicken tenderloins in a bit of olive oil until coated. Add the spice mix and toss again to ensure an even coating.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Place the chicken tenderloins in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not overcrowded to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray. This step contributes to the tenders' golden crispyness.
  • Cook in the preheated air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping hallway through. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken again with cooking spray.
  • Once they look golden brown check the temperature with an instant read thermometer. The internal temperature should reach at least 165°F.
  • Once they tenders are crispy and cooked through, remove them a let rest for a moment.
